In 2019, Russian Women in Arbitration (RWA) was established by Elena Burova, Veronica Burachevskaya, and Tuyana Molokhoeva to build a community of Russian-speaking female arbitration practitioners.

The purposes of RWA are:
- to serve as a networking platform for women involved in international arbitration and related spheres in Russia and abroad
- to discuss challenges that female arbitration practitioners face in Russia and beyond
- to share professional experience and discuss current arbitration-related issues
- to organize conferences, seminars, business breakfasts and other arbitration-related events for female practitioners
- to spread knowledge among young practitioners and students
- to raise public awareness about diversity and equality in international arbitration in Russia
GAR Awards 2021 included RWA in a short list for the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge Award.
